"When I'm making drums, I feel like I'm tapping into a deeper part of myself and my spirituality."

Drum Birthing Workshop

The drum birthing workshop is a sacred space where participants can connect with their ancestral roots and create a powerful tool for healing and self-expression.

During Truth and Reconciliation Weekend, we will be holding a special drum birthing workshop to honour and celebrate Indigenous culture and traditions.

This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn about the history and significance of drumming in Indigenous communities, and to create your own drum with guidance from experienced drum makers.

Through the process of drum birthing, participants will deepen their connection to the natural world and to their own inner wisdom, while also contributing to the preservation of Indigenous cultural practices.

Join us for this transformative experience of community, creativity, and spiritual growth, as we come together to honor the past, heal the present, and create a brighter future for all."

"Making drums is my ancestral art the actual doing of it is for my soul and is a way for me to honour my heritage and keep traditions alive."

"I have one of Monique's hand made medicinal drums and it is one of my most prized possessions. Any time I'm feeling stressed or lost in life, I grab my beautiful drum and start playing. The rhythm and vibrations calm my nervous system down and always help me get to the answer or direction I'm seeking. Thanks for making such wonderful soul medicine devices for us all to enjoy Monique!"
